Biometric / Expert Screener Toolset (BEST) uses
mobile, wearable, wirelessly-connected biometric and automated identification
systems to optimize biometric capture and incorporates automated
remote real-time expert-in-the-loop capabilities to compensate for
problems that even optimized state-of-the-art biometric systems
can experience.
With the ability to immediately
pair classified information with information collected by screening
personnel, BEST shows great promise in dramatically increasing the
usefulness of frontline personnel in high volume environments where
security concerns have created tremendous queuing problems placing
added burdens on security personnel in the wake of 9/11. |
