TRAINING DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
 
IST personnel have significant experience in course design, development, and delivery. IST personnel have created extensive ELINT collection and analysis course material for US and foreign partner intelligence organizations and have presented this course material at sites worldwide. IST personnel have also created, contributed to and presented courses for government agencies. Well versed in both the technical aspects of the material and the training design standards (e.g., ISD), IST trainers can quickly develop training material for one-time presentations or create a training course with strict adherence to formal course criteria. Training material developed by IST trainers is currently hosted on Intelink and has been incorporated into the basic SIGINT courses offered by US and foreign partner intelligence schools. IST personnel have conducted training for complex systems at sites worldwide.
 
IST personnel developed and manned the Dynamic ELINT Feedback Team (DEFT) that conducted training worldwide under the sponsorship of US government and foreign partner organizations. Training included the design, development, and delivery of course material specific to signal, system, and collection/analysis techniques as well as basic and advanced signal theory. Basic courses include theory and operation. Intermediate training addresses applications and techniques. Advanced training focuses on interpretive analysis and weapon system evaluation. Course design is modular for easy tailoring to the student body.
